Stewed Chicken with Egg Noodles

As a child I remember my grandmother making egg noodles.  

She would make a large batch and dry them on a clothes horse.  Each time she made them I was invited over for a supper of stewed chicken and homemade noodles.  This recipe is based on those memories.

This dish uses our Homemade Egg Noodle recipe.

Ingredients for Stewed Chicken
3 cups left over chicken (or turkey)
4 cups chicken stock
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 bay leaves

Directions
1. In a large pot add the above ingredients.  
2. Turn heat to medium until it is at a low boil, then reduce heat and allow to a simmer on low for an hour.
3. Add noodles five minutes before serving.
