Pepperoni & Mushroom Pizza Cups

We expanded our appetizer offering for the Christmas season with this easy recipe.

The final results turned out to be an amazing tasty treat! You may use any pizza ingredient combination to suit your taste profile.

Ingredients
Canola oil or non stick spray
213 ml Primo Garlic & Basil Pizza sauce
1 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese (1)
Cremini mushrooms (2)
Slice Pepperoni (3)
Pizza Dough

(1) Cheese amount and type will depend on your preference and cup space.
(2) Chop Cremini Mushrooms into ¼ to ½ pieces. Our favourite mushrooms!
(3) We cut the pepperoni into a ¼ to ½ inch slices, one per cup or as desired.

Directions
1. Refer to the Murlo Pizza Dough recipe We made 18 Pizza Cups from this recipe.
2. Gather Ingredients.
3. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Wipe Canola Oil or apply non Stick spray to 18 muffin tin cups.
4. Place cut pizza dough pieces in each cup including the walls.
5. Place approximately a teaspoon of mozzarella cheese into the bottom of each cup.
6. Place at least 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce in each cup. I spread some sauce on the walls.
7. Place a slice of pepperoni, then chopped mushrooms in each cup.
Size and thickness will depend on your taste preference and space.
8. Finish each cup with a top up of cheese.
9. Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is bubbling and melted, 15 minutes.
10. We froze the pizza cups for later use. Reheat from frozen for 15 minutes at 350 F.
11. Enjoy!

Murlo Notes: From frozen: 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
