———Special Edition: Murlo 2020 in Review Newsletter ——–
Happy New Year Murlo Followers!
Murlo.ca webpage, our YouTube Channel, Murlo Discovery Channel , Murlo Photography and Murlo Pinterest were concepts in the making for many years. Work finally began on all four entities in June 2020 and we officially launched in October.
Our domain, Murlo.ca has been a registered since 2012 while Murlo and Murlo Creative Expressions by Leila are registered business names since July 2020.
Thank you for signing up for our newsletter and for your valuable input to make our website even more user-friendly! Keep the suggestions coming.
Our site has resonated with not only people in Canada, but from around the world. This is nice to see after many months of hard work knowing we have something to offer.
Since our launch, we added Bio Bytes to the Welcome to Murlo! page. Bio Bytes provides lighthearted background information about the people at Murlo.
We’ve posted 43 blogs since October along with 5 YouTube videos including Canadian actor Kim Coates video promoting the Mainprize Documentary. We have some exciting posts and videos planned for 2021.
Murlo actively promotes the Mainprize Documentary as a separate page on our site as we are one of the Producers. Murlo agreed to a cross-promotion opportunity in November with the Mainprize Documentary Director Jack Hilkewich who informed the 1,060 Facebook Documentary followers to visit Murlo.ca. The response was nothing short of amazing! We also added two celebrities to our Mainprize Documentary page, singer Brad Johner and actor Kim Coates. Both gentlemen are proud supporters of the 2020/2021 Documentary fundraising campaign.
In December, we added Twitter and Instagram feeds to our suite of Murlo communications.
Murlo added a second speciality page, 40 Knots Winery The page promotes a hometown friend’s winery he (Layne) and his wife (Brenda) own and operate in Comox BC. Murlo is also a 40 Knots Winery Aficionado Club member and will review their wines along with wine from around the world.
What’s planned for 2021? We have more craft blogs and accompanied videos planned. We will also be posting a fun video tentatively titled ‘My Dad & Elvis’. Posting travel blogs was always intended for Murlo and will happen whenever it is safe to do so. Your travel suggestions on locations, dining and entertainment in Canada and around the world are welcomed.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to hearing from you!
Warmest wishes and all the best in 2021.
Murray & Leila
