
This recipe combines our two favourite food items, Shrimp and Vermicelli pasta. We’re confident you will agree and look forward to hearing your comments.
Ingredients
7 oz raw shrimp peeled and deveined
1/2 C Murlo’s Roasted Tomatoes *
2 Tbsp Classico Basil Pesto
1/2 C vegetable or chicken stock
7 oz vermicelli or angel hair pasta
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain pasta.
- In a large frying pan place one Tbsp of butter and pasta.
- Add the shrimp over medium heat until translucent.
- Add cut tomatoes, pesto, Basil, Oregano, garlic and stock. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Toss to coat the pasta, plate and enjoy with a salad and ciabatta bread.

*substitute with 1/2 C cut cherry tomatoes, 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano, 1/2 tsp minced garlic
