A Small Town Connection
While planning to attend a wedding in Parksville, British Columbia we found 40 Knots Vineyard & Estate Winery in Comox to visit located an hour drive north from our location.
One of the winery owners listed on their website was Layne Craig! I only knew of one person with this name who grew up in the same small town as me. Upon further inquiry, I confirmed it was the same person! We booked a tour and had an excellent time touring the winery and sampling many of their great wines.

Murlo Visit Review

I posted a 40 Knots Winery review on Facebook upon our return from B.C.
“We’re back from a wedding in Parksville on Vancouver Island. We spent the Thursday prior at 40 Knots Vineyard & Estate Winery in Comox owned by Layne & Brenda Craig.
The same Layne Craig from Midale. I highly recommend stopping in at their winery if you are ever in the Comox area! Say Murray sent you. No, I do not get a commission 😭 They have a good thing going on in a beautiful, environmentally friendly winery in a very scenic location. Hey, he’s from Saskatchewan. Check out the 40 Knots website
