We were in search for a unique summer drink to serve as our featured cocktail of the month for our guests.
Limoncello Basil Spritz fit the summer theme nicely becoming a refreshing hit!

Ingredients
½ lemon, cut into wedges
4 fresh basil leaves
1 oz lemonade
2 oz limoncello liqueur
1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
2 oz Prosecco
Lemon slices or lemon twist for garnish
Directions
1. Muddle lemon, fresh basil and lemonade in a cocktail shaker.
2. Add limoncello and ice. Cover and shake well.
3. Strain basil-limoncello mixture into 2 champagne glasses.
4. Top with Prosecco.
5. Garnish with lemon slice or zest.
Serves 2
