
This is our go to batter recipe for fish and chicken meals.
Our crispy batter recipe is thick so it sticks to the meat when deep frying.
Ingredients
1 c. flour
1/4 c baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2c milk
1/2 cold water


1. Mix together all dry ingredients. Whisk in the liquid just prior adding the pieces of fish or chicken.
2. To coat fish well, first pat dry the fish with paper towel. Dust with flour then dip into the batter. Fry in hot oil.
Note: This batter will get thicker as time passes. Add an extra Tbsp of water to thin if necessary.
