This unique and simple recipe caught our attention so we decided to give this appetizer a try.
Murlo acknowledges Olivia at Allrecipes for the original Balsamic Roasted Grapes recipe.
We put our own spin when making this for the first time. The results were amazing! See Murlo Notes below.
Our guests who tasted this with us for the first time also enjoyed this appetizer. (You know who you are)
Ingredients
3 cups red or green grapes
Olive oil (enough to coat grapes)
1 Tbsp chopped fresh Thyme
1 Tbsp chopped fresh Oregano
1 Tbsp balsamic reduction
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Murlo Notes:
1. Grapes used – California Sweet black seedless
2. The original recipe calls for balsamic vinegar. We had several different flavours of Balsamic Reduction on hand. Classic flavour was used.

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Chopped oregano and thyme
3. Combine grapes, olive oil, chopped thyme, and chopped oregano together in a bowl and lightly toss to coat.
4. Place grapes on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake until grapes begin to wrinkle, about 20 minutes.
6. Drizzle balsamic reduction or balsamic vinegar as desired.
7. Season with salt and ground black pepper as desired.
8. Serve hot.
9. Enjoy!
Murlo Notes:
1. Bake long enough so the grapes are heated thoroughly to the point of wrinkling.
2. The amount of Balsamic Reduction, salt, pepper is based on your taste preference.
3. We use Nonna Pia’s Balsamic Reduction and have all their amazing flavours.
4. Our second roasted grapes included seedless green grapes.
