Pinot Auxerrois: 40 Knots Winery – Review

Murlo is a 40 Knots Winery Aficionado member.  We received this Pinot Auxerrois wine as part of the members package and is an excellent wine.

Our Tasting Notes
We found this medium body wine dry with a medium citrus (lemon/lime) hit on the palette and a floral note. Served chilled.  The wine would make a good compliment to a creamy pasta dish.

Experience this rare find with fresh seasonal cuisine.  This beautiful wine is lightly oaked, medium body and a big hit mid palate.  Alsational style with pineapple, lemon, lime and pear.  May take on a Riesling character in time.  Rich and oily.
